The patented Libra electronic scale makes use of sensitive weight sensors that allow to accurately weigh up to 25 kg (e.g. 6000 € if in 2€ pieces). This device enables the machine board to know - in real time - the precise amount contained in each monitored hopper. In addition, it can record any illicit or unjustified removal of coins.
- Detects and transmits weight in real time, so monitoring precisely the contained/remaining amount, and the subsequent need for refill
- No more need for preliminary calculation of the coins for refill, so saving time and preventing any risk of mistakes in calculation
- It spots possible thefts or malfunctions while the machine is on, and it warns about off-work incongruities when re-started
- Operative protocols: ccTalk (to control the scale from the board as a ccTalk peripheral), or SPI (to manage the scale and the hopper as one single device)
- The multi-function dip-switch row enables various functions, as choosing the operating protocol, configuring the ccTalk address, measuring the tare or setting the coin to be weighed (from 2 €cent to 2 €), and programming non-standard denominations
- Easily installed and very convenient also for retro-fitting existing machines
